In 2015 the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, one of the oldest and most prestigious music schools in Australia, is celebrating its 100th birthday. To mark this historic milestone and 100 years of music teaching and performance, the Con and the University of Sydney will present a number of special fanfare events featuring concerts, music premieres and exceptional guest musicians. Check out the Con Centenary website for more details.

Join us to celebrate the next generation of opera singers at Sydney Conservatorium of Music as they present English Eccentrics, a comic opera written by Australian composer Malcolm Williamson. Based on the book by Edith Sitwell of the same name, the piece is a witty examination of a motley collection of quirky characters from the English establishment.
