'Music Contemporary 2014' is the second of a series concerts for new orchestral works presented by the Sydney Contemporary Orchestra.

Experience the differences between cultures, musical languages, and experimental compositional techniques, those reflect our new philosophies, aesthetics, technologies and of all - our times, in these concerts where stunning works by outstanding contemporary composers from Australia and from over the world will be given their world premiere or Australian premiere in Sydney by the Sydney Contemporary Orchestra.

Comprised of 56 finest orchestral musicians, and led by its Founding Conductor, Artistic and Executive Director Dr Brian Chatpo Koo, the first person to receive a PhD degree in music composition in Australia, the Sydney Contemporary Orchestra is dedicated to exploring and promoting new orchestral music of contemporary composers.
