PRESENTED BY: SYDNEY SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA

Chinese superstar pianist Yuja Wang is set to make a striking first impression in Sydney.

For her Sydney recital debut Yuja Wang is bringing a program that offers two faces of virtuoso Romanticism: the ecstatic visions of Scriabin and the supreme poetry of Chopin. And she concludes with Balakirev's brilliant and seductive 'oriental fantasy'.

Yuja Wang has made the mainstream news for daring fashion choices, but in musical circles this young pianist is admired for her fearless technique, her insightful and reflective approach to music, and her charisma on the concert platform. And in 2015 Sydneysiders will be able to experience the full extent of her remarkable pianism.
